Should We Sell Frames?

“Can we get just the frame?” We hear that a lot, even more so lately. Folks seem more interested in customizing their bamboo bike the way they want it, instead of having to pay for components they don’t want.

The flip side is cost. It’s always going to cost you more to purchase individual components than it will cost us (the manufacturer) to purchase components in bulk. But maybe you’re not buying components, maybe you’re taking them off your old bike and putting them on your new bamboo bicycle frame. Or salvaging parts from old scrapyard bikes.

So, what do you think? Bamboo bike frames or complete bikes ready to ride? We’re looking into it on our end, stay tuned.
